The Spider

                        I saw a horrible spider crawl

                        All down my bedroom wall

                        Staring with eight beady eyes

                        Giving me a terrible "surprise"

                        With eight legs, hairy and black
                        And three red dots upon his back
                        He stayed there, looking at me

                        I am sure he had a smile I could see

                        So I shouted for my dad

                        He took a look at went mad
                        "I'm not touching that, "It's all hairy"

                        "Take a look; - it’s scary"

                                   A Turkey Named Pete

                    I'm a turkey named Pete.

                    And I’m nobodies treat.

                    I'm not going to be your dinner,

                    I'm much too lean and full of bone.

                    I'm working on being thinner!

                    Thanksgiving is all whack

                    What's wrong with a nice Pancake stack?

                    I'm not ending up on a plate,

                    Why don't you try your luck

                    On a big fat duck!

                                                      Lies She Tells

                    She begins to move,

                    Evil presences begin to dance

                    Lies touch her lips

                    A throne, decent she weaves

                    Troubled lives she touches

                    Wicked hands; -

                    Altering plans

                    Suiting her purpose

                    Wicked desires feed

                    Pains of each last breath

                    She laughs…

                   In the soft sand!

                       It’s more of a grateful sigh

                       Hear birds singing. Beautiful

                       Before launching into a sky

                       So radiant, blue kissed,

                          By golden sun; feel the grass

                       Beneath your feel, the wind

                       There is hope, progress.

                        Let your flames turn
                        My heart filled with tears;
                        Watch me as it burns...

                        Our hearts in vain
                        Earth starts to shake;
                        I cast the rain…

                        Feeding some Ducks

                        A crocodile lunged at me!

                        I think I peed my pants

                        Now I need dried underpants

                        No, we must confront it, characterize it,

                        Said the Poet!

                     Then our words might capture and define it

                      

                         There is no agreement. The argument

                         Is now new!

                         They stand facing each other, angry,

                         A divided command

                       I'm having a tea party,

                       Have a slice of cake
                       It's really quite a "treat"

                         Crimson red 

                         Burning bright

                         Fury within

                         Starts to fight

                         Holding within

                         So no one gets 

                         Feel it burn; -

                         It doesn't hurt!

                         Slowly leak out

                         Winds engulf me

                                                      All Around Me

                          The depths I reach

                          Touch not the heights I seek

                          Pretty in pink masks evil deeds

                          Perfume hides a decayed stink

                          And all I see around me

                          Is tension and disease

                          Spangled dazzled and teased

                          Devilishly disguised draperies

                          Cries moans and strangled pleas

                          Vacant dazes found interesting

                          A twirl of my skirt meant to tease

                          The more I stay here the less I want to leave

                          Encapsulated heart conveyor belt freeze

                          Strangled and blinded in the pits of society

                     A mobile slowly turns,

                     Calming sounds

                     Warmth and comfort

                     Yawns –

                     It’s sleepy time

                     Dream, dream

                     Precious dreams

                   The Organ Grinder

                       A new day burns high in the sky

                       As “Little” puppets on the ground scurry by

                       Forgetting their strings are connected to

                       The master's grand machine

                       They scrape and crawl along on bended knees

                       All to no avail

                       Their all headed to society's prison cell

                       The president stands as Joker grinding the

                       great machine

                       The sadistic puppet master pulling everyone's

                       Strings

                       Dragging his crew to their demise

                       Screaming, bloody with horrified eyes

                       As his “Monkeys” dance beating their cymbals

                       To his tune

                   Howl at the moon and dance with the sun

                   Struggles to survive before the day is done

                   Time is fleeting as money and energy is

                   Slowly depleting

                   Everything one circular rat race

                   Set to a familiar frantic pace

                   Scurrying children on the playground~

                   Running amongst screams mixed

                   With happy sounds

                   A declining Nation swirling the drain

                   Innocent faces automatically stamped sane

                   While little trapped rats wail in pain

                   Children screaming on a runaway carousel

                   Dad wasn’t there every time I fell

                   So dance when you can laughing at the

                   Twisted and inhumane

                   When you strip away the self-righteous

                   We are just the same

                   Finding what little love and

                   Comfort you can
